The HCA – have launched a new consultation on proposed changes to the Tenant Involvement and Empowerment Standard.
Soon the HCA’s consent when they make significant changes regarding tenants’ homes – including if they change the landlord will not be required.
the landlrod will be inspected post the merger etc, instead of permisison being required.
The proposals clarify and strengthen requirements around consultation with tenants when providers are proposing to change their landlord or when proposing a significant change in their management to arrangements.
The consultation runs from today for a period of 6 weeks and will close at 5pm on 22 March 2017. Full details of the consultation can be found on the following link:
