Amendment to new ASB Bill defeated
Despite the government accepting there was a ‘strong case’ for extending the Anti-Social Behaviour Bill to cover all tenants, an amendment tabled by Labour was defeated, meaning social landlords will only be able to enforce legal sanctions on social tenants in anti-social behaviour cases.
