The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is looking for housing associations and builders to join a panel of developers to build up to £8bn-worth of homes in England.
Under the third Delivery Partner Panel (DPP3), the HCA will procure from a pre-approved list of developers for a four-year period. The deadline for applications is 25 January 2017.
The HCA said the panel will be a “key tool” for the delivery of schemes between 50 and 500 homes across the range of its land holdings and programmes.
The £8bn has been allocated fairly evenly to five English regions, with the exception of London, but the Midlands is getting the lion’s share at £2.6bn.
The number of approved organisations for each region the HCA is looking for has been increased from 25 under DPP2 to 35.
Membership has also been encouraged from organisations with off-site manufacturing capacity “to help speed delivery”.
