Senior Officials from the Chinese NAO spend a week learning about Housing

Yvonne designed and organised for the National Audit Office from the People’s Republic of China to spend a week on Housing Policy and Regulation at Manchester Business School. Their task when they return is to China is to rewrite the social policy system for China!

During the week, they spent time learning about the history of housing in the UK; Regulation, Audit and Inspection through the ages and they heard from practitioners and professionals from the world of housing, housing strategy and regeneration and the professional organisations on what worked, what works and the unintended consequences of some policy decisions.
