Community Infrastructure Levy
CLG are consulting on the detailed implementation of the Government’s proposals to the Community Infrastructure Levy. Views are requested via a questionnaire, downloadable from the CLG website. Consultation closes 30 December.
The regulations allow the Council to levy a charge on owners or developers of land that is developed so they contribute to the costs of providing the infrastructure needed to support the development of the area – more details are in the Localism Bill
