EDF is running 10-one-day events for staff in small housing associations across London and the south of England between June and December.
Trainees will learn about the causes and consequences of fuel poverty, and how to address the problem.
Government figures published last week showed the number of people in fuel poverty in England fell in 2010, the most recent year for which data is available, from 4 million to 3.5 million. However the annual release also predicted the figure is set to rise, staying stable for 2011, but increasing to 3.9 million in 2012 as energy price rises come into play. The government has a target to end fuel poverty by 2016.
