Grenfell residents will be given an extra year without having to pay rent, following a highly critical report into the council’s handling of the crisis.

This follows a critical report about the way that those who have had to leave the block have not yet been housed.

Only 26 households have been permanently rehoused since the fire, with 320 households still living in hotels.
