Two landlords have completed one of the largest stock swaps in the social housing sector.
The deal will lead to the exchange of around 1,400 homes between Sovereign Housing Association in Wiltshire and Knightstone Housing Association in Somerset.
Under the swap, Sovereign will take on the ownership and management of 758 homes in the Swindon and wider Wiltshire area, while Knightstone will take over 677 homes in Somerset.
Both landlords saw the swap as an opportunity to have a greater footing in their respective key areas and confirmation of the deal came after a 6-week consultation with residents affected by the transfer.
