Re:allies – as opened up a £160m framework for social landlords seeking to commission fire safety work.

It is a collaboration between Procure Plus, Efficiency North and the Central Housing Investment Consortium.

They suggest the framework could help landlords avoid paying over the odds for fire safety measures as surging demand following the Grenfell fire causes price hikes. The four-year framework is split into four lots: fire risk assessments, fire precaution works, sprinklers, and fire detection and alarms.

It also breaks down work into regions which contractors can bid on.
