New rent guidance will be issued this year by the regulator, according to the RSH at the Acuity conference.
Current guidance focuses on rent reduction until 2020, but the government has made a decision now to increase rents for 5 years from 2020 – so a new regulatory standard on rent will follow to take account of this change from 2020.
