Joan Newport, tenant activist received a GRAFTA award for 11 years of dedicated service at a staff recognition gala.
Joan received her award from Peter Walls, Gentoo’s chief executive, at the Stadium of Lightin Sunderland. She is also chair of the Federation’s board member forum for the North East and na Audit Commission Tenant Inspector.
