Thirteen has launched a homelessness prevention service for five councils in the Tees Valley, backed by £710,000 of government funding.
Aimed at helping people aged 18 to 34 who are at risk of homelessness, the Key Step scheme will be managed by Thirteen Housing Group on behalf of Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool, Redcar and Cleveland, and Darlington councils.
The funding was provided through the CLGs Homelessness Prevention Trailblazers scheme, which provides funding for local authorities ready to provide “new, innovative” approaches to preventing homelessness.
Great stuff!
