The UK Housing Review, a comprehensive update on housing policy produced by the Chartered Institute of Housing, has been published.
According to Inside Housing:
“This year’s review covers contemporary issues including Brexit and Welfare Reform and a review of the current economic position and housing market statistics.
On Brexit it notes that price growth slowed before the referendum, and that volumes of transactions are more likely to take a hit than prices.
It notes that the UK has the fourth lowest level of homeownership among EU member states and recorded the lowest level of housebuilding between 2006 and 2015 of any EU country.”
