Three senior housing executives will contest this year’s Chartered Institute of Housing vice-presidential election.
Inside Housing has revealed the contenders:
Elaine Gibson, director of Ayrshire-based housing association Ancho, Geraldine Howley, chief executive of Bradford-based association Incommunities and Jim Strang, chief executive of Parkhead Housing Association in Glasgow, have been shortlisted.
The winner will succeed Steve Stride, chief executive of London-based Poplar Harca, as vice-president and will become president of the institute in 2015. Voting opens on 14 March and close on 7 April.
