They have to install solar panels before the government cuts subsidies next month.
South Liverpool Homes, Two Castles Housing Association and Northwards Housing, all based in the North West of England, are working to install panels on their homes to take advantage of the Feed-In Tariff rate before a 64% cut, which is due to come into effect on 8 February.
The installations will need to be completed before Friday to benefit from the existing tariff.
