The former chief executive of one of England’s largest housing associations has been appointed to the Homes and Communities Agency’s regulation committee.

Simon Dow, the former chief executive of Guinness Partnership, will serve as a non-executive member of the committee with effect from today. Jonathan Adlington, a solicitor and former senior partner at law firm Trowers & Hamlins, stands down from the committee after three years’ service.

Mr Dow was appointed following open competition conducted by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG).
