Social Housing families skip meals due to money worries

The survey of 300,000 social housing tenants by Social Publishing Project (SPP) was published in its free advice magazine Quids in!

According to 24 Housing:

Analysis showed 44% miss meals because of money worries, Half of families switch off heating when they’re cold to save cash, six in 10 say they are anxious or depressed with 28% confessing to feeling physically ill. Six in 10 were not able to save any money, only 17% have savings accounts and nearly seven in 10 cannot afford home contents insurance.
