The role of the regulator and the national standards may be changing, but landlords are reminded in a letter from Claer Lloyd Jones, Chief Executive at the Tenant Services Authority, that Annual Reports must be produced by no later than 1st October 2011.
Her letter makes it abundantly clear that annual reports are for tenants, not for the regulator, so that tenants can hold their landlords to account.
1st of October 2011 will soon be here! Have you started consulting and involving your tenants yet in producing an annual report? Handy hints and tips will be included in our August edition of Tenant Advisor Newsletter later this week.
Claer Lloyd-Jones’ letter can be found on the TSA’s website.
