The social arm of the UK’s largest listed residential landlord has housed its first tenants in a new community.

The £600 million development in Berewood, Hampshire, will contain 2,550 homes, 40 per cent of which will be affordable,1049 homes, and run by Grainger Trust. The rest of the homes will be run by Grainger plc.

Twenty-five per cent of the 1,049 affordable homes will be for social rent, 25 per cent for affordable rent, 25 per cent shared ownership and 25 per cent intermediate rent.

Grainger Trust was first launched in November 2012
