The three largest political parties in England have all backed Inside Housing’s drive to increase the number of apprenticeships and training opportunities in the housing sector.
The Homes Work campaign, which launched last week, now has the UK government’s backing, along with a number of major housing organisations.
Homes Work aims to get residential developers to state on building site hoardings the number of apprenticeships they are providing, for housing associations and councils to pledge how many apprenticeship and training places they will provide, and to create a web resource for schools and colleges.
