A 63-year old named Britain’s most prolific complainer has been banned from contacting his local council after voicing 10,000 objections.

The string of complaints lodged by Steve Bradbury are thought to stretch over the past thirty years, the first being made following a missed bin collection.
Kirklees Council has claimed it is spending £11,000 a year dealing with his requests, having previously banned Bradbury from visiting council offices because staff find him ‘intimidating’.
Bradbury told the Daily Mail: ‘Every time I have dealings with the council, things go dramatically wrong. So I escalate it up the ladder and I’ve found that the further up you go the worse it gets.’
The West Yorkshire authority offered Bradbury £250 and an apology after his bins were not collected in 1988. However Bradbury is reported to have refused this offer, instead lodging another complaint about the quality of customer service he received.
A spokesperson for Kirklees Council said Bradbury’s approach had ‘made the situation worse’.
